Janus has always found interest in human interactions and serving those in need. While earning her Bachelors in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, Janus had the opportunity to work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and disorders. The two-year experience inspired her to explore similar and more long-term paths which led her to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. After graduating from the University of Washington in 2017, Janus started her first position as a Certified Behavior Technician. Since then, she has worked with many learners with different skillsets across multiple settings. Janus is currently pursuing her Masters in Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis) at Arizona State University. She hopes to further her education in ABA as well as take the next steps in becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
