M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
While earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French Literature from the University of Puget Sound, Rachel became interested in the field of ABA through working for a local company that provided a summer intervention program for children with autism. After college, Rachel started a position as an interventionist on a research study at the University of Washington Autism Center, where she worked with young children on the spectrum. During her time working on the study, Rachel realized she could have a greater impact on the individuals she served as a BCBA. Rachel completed her Master’s in Special Education in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Washington in 2013. Since becoming a BCBA, Rachel has worked with toddlers through young adults with autism in a variety of clinic, home, and school-based settings in the greater Seattle area. She took a brief break from her work at the start of 2020 to welcome her daughter into the world. Rachel is passionate about parent training, collaborating with other providers, and naturally embedding teaching objectives into activities. She is excited to join the APPLE team!
