Erica first began working with children with special needs in high school as a camp counselor at a local inclusive summer camp. She continued this interest while studying human biology at Stanford University through coaching swimmers with special needs, tutoring, and teaching summer school for elementary school students with learning disabilities.
After graduating college in 2014, Erica officially entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis as an in-home behavior therapist for children with autism. After two years in the field, she decided to further pursue ABA through graduate studies at the University of Washington. While completing her master’s degree at UW, she gained experience working with clients in clinics and schools. Erica is interested in both language acquisition and development, as well as promoting inclusion in athletics. Erica joined the APPLE team in July 2017. She is excited to work with such a dedicated and supportive team.
