Rachel Romans
Family Resource Coordinator
Originally from Minnesota, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French Literary Studies from the University of Puget Sound. She began her career at the University of Washington Autism Center as an interventionist on the Early Steps Study, providing early intervention services to young children with autism using the Early Start Denver Model. Inspired by the importance of collaboration among families and professionals, she went on to earn a Master’s in Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Washington and became a BCBA.
Rachel worked with several local ABA agencies before joining APPLE as a Clinical Supervisor in 2020. After taking time away from her career to be home with her two daughters, she returned to APPLE in 2025 in an administrative support role, where she applies her clinical expertise to assist with client-related tasks. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys reading, baking, hiking, and spending time with her family
